  General Questions
   

Question: What is Hotel Pacific's check-in and check-out time?  
 


Answer: It depends on which category you fall into, most guests will be in Category "A"

Category "A": The regular Check-in time is 11:00 A.M. and Check-out time is 1:00 P.M.

  • Check-in Time any hours after 11 a.m. to any hours in night and rule “C” will not be applicable for this category. This category cannot enjoy 24 hours from time of check-in. Example, if any one gets checked-in at 9:00 P.M. today and the Guest’s check-out will be 1 p.m. next day. He cannot claim to stay until 9 p.m. next day. He/she has to pay according to the Point No.4 & 5 below mentioned rent after 2 p.m.
     

  • If the guest gets checked-in between 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. he will be under Category of “C” and can enjoy 24 hours stay.
     
  • Guests staying past 2:00 pm till 6:00 pm must pay half room rent.
     

  • Guests staying past 6:00 pm must pay full room rent.

Category "B": Frequent Guest Program, patron card holders.

  • Considering the need of our valued Frequent guests, we offer a special Check-in time for our regular guests : 7 A.M. or later for the same day. Their check-out will be as usual up to 1 p.m. next day, even if they stays 1 night. Because they are our frequently visited guests even though they get check-in at 7 a.m. on the previous day.  So, their stay will be 30 hours on the First day. This is a privilege to our regular frequent guests.  In case, any one comes earlier than 7 a.m., then we will charge the room rent for the previous night’s rent.

Category "C": For early Check-in guests, who want to stay for 24 hours.

  • Our Room rent is for maximum of 24 hours to stay in the hotel room. For Example, under this category one guest got checked-in at 7 a.m. today and he has the right to stay until 7 a.m. tomorrow with one night’s rent. In this case, the check-out time will be 7 a.m., tomorrow. In case, any Guests stays more than 24 hours of above check-out time, he/she has to pay 50% of rent up to 4 hours over 24 hours.
     
  • If he/she stays over 4 hours from check-out time (means over 28 hours, then he/she has to pay full rent for further one night addition to previous room rent, even if the guests does not stay night. The Guest should pay at least 1 night’s rent even if the Guest stays few hours any time of day or night. But if he/she stays more than 2 nights, we can consider the guests for check-out time of 1 p.m. same like Category “B”, mentioned above.

Question: What are the check-in requirements for Foreign guests?

 
 
Answer:  Please fulfill the following requirements during Check-in at Hotel Pacific, to comply with Government Regulations (Empowered by Clause -27, Dhaka Metropolitan Ordinance 1976) and your safety. Knowing ahead of time will ensure a smooth check-in process.
  1. You need to present your original passport, along with a valid visa for visiting Bangladesh.

    ·         We will take a scanned copy of the passport and the valid visa page.

    ·         You may stay at the hotel for the entire duration of your valid visa period.

    ·         Please check-in to the hotel before submitting your passport to any embassy; photocopies of your passport are not acceptable: they can easily be photo-shopped.

    Please wait at the reception and collect your passport before going to your room. Do not allow anyone other than the receptionists to handle it.

     

  2. We will take your photo with our webcam, which is recorded in our database.

     
  3. Male and female foreign guests can share the same room, however

                 ·         You may stay at the hotel for the entire duration of your valid visa period.

                 ·     A single female foreign guest can stay by herself..
     
  4. You need to pay room rent on a daily basis, and must be paid at the time of Check-in before going to your room. Accepted payment modes: Cash or credit card only.

     
  5. Remember this when you decide to Check-out: Please ask the Receptionist to make your final bill well in advance. After confirming your final bill amount, please sign the final bill and get your original final bill and collect the Hotel Pacific printed money receipt, to exempt you from liability. You should take those documents as an evidence of your payment.

Question: What are the check-in requirements for Local (Bangladeshi) guests?

  1. You need to present your original National I.D, or Passport or Driving License.     

    ·    We will take a scanned copy of the National I.D, or Passport or Driving License for our data base.        

    ·    We will also take scanned copy of National I.D. or any Photo I.D.  of the Female Guest, accompanied by the male guest.

    ·    Please check-in to the hotel before submitting your passport to any embassy; photocopies of your passport are not acceptable: they can easily be photo-shopped.

    ·    Please wait at the reception and collect your National I.D, or Passport or Driving License before going to your room. Do not allow anyone other than the receptionists to handle it.

     

  2. We will take your photo with our webcam, which is recorded in our database. In case, both male and female guest wants to stay together, the photo will be taken jointly.

     

  3. A single female Bangladeshi guest can stay by herself, abiding above rules.

     
  4. All guests who stay in the room must provide their complete address. Every guest must also provide us their mobile phone number. The mobile phone must be with you at the reception. We will call that number in front of you, to verify if the number is active.

     
  5. You need to pay room rent on a daily basis, and must be paid at the time of Check-in before going to your room. Accepted payment modes: Cash or credit card only.
